As creative director, I wanted to change the style of the cover from previous editions, which were all down on illustrator. As I was producing and directing the shoot, I had a limited budget so I utilized tin foil for the background. Asking my fellow friends and club members, we were able to produce my vision of mugler x swinging 60s— two clashing aesthetics.
Thank you to all the girls!

For this shoot, I acted as the photographer while the two styled themselves. The zine as a whole aimed for a more retro & Y2K theme so I wanted to maintain that for the issue.
I tied all the elements together by adding cut out magazine letters to add an element of nostalgia, while a layer of grian on the photographers to mimic film.
After the pandemic, the three of us believed our styles changed significantly. With the rise of Tiktok and influencers, we looked towards the internet for inspiration for clothing. The three of us rotated as photographers, with majority of the pictures all taken on point and shoot film cameras.
My goal was to showcase the clothing along with the paired text that each had written. To play along the theme of the internet, I added little symbols like the mouse and buttons.
